HEALING TIMES

  What to expect

Some tenderness in the area of initial piercing is not unusual. Your piercing will go through its “ups and downs” during its healing time. It may seem to to be healed and then regress, this is normal. If you feel the piercing is infected or healing abnormally CONTACT YOUR PIERCER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

 What to avoid

  • NO HYDROGEN PEROXIDE OR RUBBING ALCOHOL; These are caustic and can over dry it.

  • NO OINTMENTS; These can clogs your piercing and cause bacteria to stick to it.

  • DO NOT SUBMERGE YOUR BODY IN BATHS, LAKES, POOLS, HOT TUBES, ETC for 2 weeks

  • AVOID sleeping on your piercing
